• Divisions Full: All of our divisions in CAPA Fall Open are full currently. Our next tournament will be CAPA Palm Spring Championship (California Championship Qualifier) Nov 9-11th at Saboba Casino Resort, CA. Make sure you check our website playcapa.com/pschamp and register early. • Men's, Women’s & Mixed Doubles: Skill: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, Age: 8+, 35+, 50+

• Junior Open Doubles: Skill: 3.0+, Age: 8-16, Gender: Coed, Prize Money: $500

• 40+ Open Doubles: Skill: 4.0+, Gender: Coed, Prize Money: $2500

• Mixed Open Doubles: Skill: 4.0+, Gender: Mixed, Prize Money: $2500

• Open Doubles: Skill: 4.0+, Gender: Coed, Prize Money: $2500

FORMAT

• Round Robin Play: Guaranteed minimum of 5 games

• Medal Rounds: For brackets with 10 or more teams.

• Placement Criteria: 1. Total Wins, 2. Wins Against Head-to-Head Teams, 3. Total Points, 4. Lowest Total Score Allowed

REGISTRATION FEE

• Men's, Women’s & Mixed Doubles: $70 per person per event/$140 per team

• Junior Open Doubles: $100 per person/$200 per team

• 40+ Open Doubles: $120 per person/$240 per team

• Mixed Open Doubles: $120 per person/$240 per team

• Open Doubles: $120 per person/$240 per team

REGISTRATION DEADLINES

Early Registration Deadline: August 25th, 2024, 11:59pm ($5 off discount)

Final Registration Deadline: September 8th, 2024, 11:59pm

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

• Enter As A Team: Enter both players’ information during checkout. Both players must register and pay before the deadline.

• Payment Options: If online registration shows your division is full or if you do not have PayPal, use Zelle to capickleballassociation@gmail.com. Include your full name, email, and division in the notes.

• Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email and your team will be added to the ‘Player List’. A welcoming email will be sent within a week after the registration deadline.

• Refund Policy: Withdrawals before the deadline will be refunded one week after, with a $3 PayPal processing fee per transaction. No refunds or credits after the deadline for any reason, including weather conditions.

• Registration Changes: Email us before the deadline for any changes. No changes allowed after the deadline.

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

• Official Ball: Franklin X-40 yellow

• Tournament Rules: USAPA 2024 pickleball rules apply. Only USAPA-approved paddles are permitted. Net serves are in continuous play.

• Age Compliance: Both partners must be above 35+ to join 35+ division. A team with one player under 35 cannot join the 35+ division.

• Rating Compliance: Register according to your DUPR rating. Players can play above their rating but not below.

• DUPR Rating Requirement:

  3.0 divisions: DUPR rating 3.49 or below

  3.5 divisions: DUPR rating 3.99 or below

  4.0 divisions: DUPR rating 4.49 or below

  4.5 divisions: DUPR rating 4.99 or below

  5.0 divisions: DUPR rating 5.49 or below

  Open divisions: DUPR rating 4.0 and above

  Note: If a player does not have a rating (NR) or the rating is provisional (*), with 10 or fewer games recorded, the player can join any divisions.

• Disqualification: Registering in a lower division than your rating may result in disqualification.

DUPR

• Score Recording: All matches will be recorded to DUPR, except for Mixed open doubles and Open doubles divisions. Results will be uploaded within 2 weeks after the tournament.

• DUPR Account: Every player needs a DUPR account for registration.
