The San Gabriel Valley Pickleball Open 2022

Join our first pickleball tournament at Oak Avenue Intermediate School on Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th. With 12 pickleball courts, we are offering 18 divisions including a 2.5 level division for new pickleball players, seniors and junior players. The tournament will be in Round Robin format.

Tournament participants can earn our first edition of CAPA Dri-fit T-shirt. There will also be raffle prizes and medals awarded to the top three winners in each division. Free snacks and drinks will also be provided during the tournament. Join us for some fun pickleball competition!

Please enter your partners name on ‘Additional Information’ when you check out, and have both you and your partner registered and pay before deadline.

Refund- If you withdraw before May 20th, full amount will be refunded to your credit card. No refund will be given on cancellations after May 20th.

Mixed Doubles

Juniors Doubles- Under age 16, Enter in men, women or mixed gender

Enter as a team. Both partners have to be above 50+ to join 50+ division and both partners have to be under 16 years old to join Junior Division. If I am 49 and my partner is 51, my partner and I can only join 8+, not 50+.

RULES

Dura Fast 40 balls will be used. USAPA 2022 pickleball rules will be applied. Only USAPA approved paddles can be in use. CRBN paddles are not allowed currently. Net serve is continuous play. Drop serve, covid serve, spin off the hand and paddle are allowed. Receivers have to call OUT calls clearly and loudly in game.
