Pickleball Cares is a non profit program associated with Major League Pickleball to change lives through Pickleball – from players of all skill levels to the communities that support the game. This will be accomplished by introducing the game to youth and thereby providing life-changing opportunities for education, health, and well-being through pickleball. Pickleball Cares strives to improve outcomes for the education, health, self-confidence, and well-being of all who are touched by the sport of pickleball. Pickleball Cares’ primary public initiative will be “Pickleball gets kids moving again.” This initiative will focus on educating and encouraging youth to play pickleball and the importance of physical activity and good nutrition. Pickleball Cares is planning to host their first philanthropic event, a celebrity pro-am at Los Caballeros Sports Village in Fountain Valley, CA to fundraise more than $30,000 for the program.
